Everest Global Capital was engaged to support the discreet off‑market placement of the official 2021 Formula 1 Safety Car, one of only two vehicles of its type produced by Aston Martin for that season. The car made available was the original operational Safety Car deployed during the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a race that remains one of the most discussed moments in recent motorsport history.
The vehicle was not a replica or commemorative model; it was the authentic, track‑used Safety Car with full provenance. Its release to the private market represented a rare opportunity for a qualified custodian to acquire a historically significant asset with direct relevance to a defining championship event.
Everest Global Capital was approached to support the discreet sale process, ensuring enquiries were handled closely in conjunction with the Silverstone-based factory. The firm’s role included the nomination of parties who were single-handedly invited to inspect the limited-edition F1 Vantage model, which have been signed by Aston Martin Aramco drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
The car appeared at 20 Grand Prix races between 2021 and 2023, totalling 4280km across track tests and race deployments for premier championship and its support categories.
The team at EGC were pleased to support this placement and to assist in the responsible transfer of a unique motorsport asset.
“Having come through junior motorsport, I recognise how rarely an asset sits at the crossover of technical significance and historical relevance. This edition carries a story that is distinctive within modern Formula 1, and our role was to ensure it is placed with a custodian who appreciates both its provenance and its responsibility.”

Chief Executive Officer, Everest Global Capital
